That sounds like what I was planning for the al tubes.  SS tubes will be left as is.  What treatment, if any, should be done to the insides of the aluminum tubes?  I have heard of a process where you drill a small hole near each end and squirt some boiled linseed oil inside, spread it all around by tilting and twisting the tube, and then draining the excess out the holes.  Is this time well spent or overkill.
