We found that what?s works good for the bid tapes can also be used for
micro. 1) Make a plastic sandwich like you do for the bid tapes.
2) Put micro in the middle.
3) Straddle the bid tape on both sides with stick of wood or something
that represents the thickness you want to achieve.
4) Use a roller to flatten the micro with the wood as a guide.
5) Pull off one side of the sandwich and place it face down on your
project.
6) Use the spatulas to feather the edges.
7) Pull off the remaining side of the sandwich.
It?s not a perfect system, there will be pit holes in the micro, but it
saved us a whole lot of time. Happy building!

portion of the elevator (to make the gaps even.) In adding micro to
these areas I find that I have a hard time making a uniform (or nearly
uniform) thickness of micro and then spend a lot of time and sandpaper
to reduce the thickness of the ?globs? to even it out and make a
