Hi Greg,
OK I'll take a stab at
it. There are lots of variables to consider. I recently had a 320
fast build kit, un-started, big tail, upgrades and a few accessories, excellent
condition and after a while I got about $22K so I'll use that as a starting
point. If there has been work done to a kit it's really up to the buyer to
decide if that's a plus or minus. Some people want to do it all themseves,
others are glad to get a lot of labor cheap. Then again you have to
consider the quality of work done. If there is an experienced builder
handy, get him/her to look at the work. Try to get a sense of how
organized the seller is. If there are parts lost or missing it could cost
you a fortune to replace them one at a time. How old is it, has it been
moved arround alot, does it have the motor mount you want, any tools and
materials, how old is the resin? Read as much of the LML archives as you can
stand to get a sense of what problems people have had and what to look
for.
good
luck
