Can I get the project completed with the = existing manuals? Probably, but at what cost? For the ES at least, = there have been numerous times when doing it by the book has taken me = down a path I later wished I hadn't taken. Other times, upon the advise = of other builders, I avoided later problems by specifically not = following the manuals. I suspect almost everyone on the List has = similar experiences. In my opinion the construction manuals are long = over due for updating.
