I've been interested in the new diesels and other engines for my Super ES. I'm not positive I'll go with one but I'm leaving my options open.
What has been your experience with the CG? And can the plane tolerate a heavier engine without resorting to ballast?
I'm not planning a huge suite of instruments but it will be more than the average club Cessna.
Also one builder I talked to when I bought my kit said he had heard that the Super ES engine ran hot so he bought a IV cowl with larger intakes. Any word on that?
