"Reportedly, an announcement regarding new financing or
investment also is due soon from Lancair International, but company officials
are keeping mum for at least a few more days. They do say, however, that it is a
totally separate, coincidental situation to the major investment in the Bend
firm that shares part of its name and lineage.
Still, the news out of
Bend’s Lancair is “a great opportunity” for Lancair International as well, said
Peter Stiles, chief pilot for the Redmond firm. "Their success directly relates
to ours, and vice versa."
