If this helps - I recently had a leak from the nose gear down actuator hose (about 8"long) (9 years old, 500 landings) and thus, I rebuilt the hose and reinstalled knowing full well I had introduced a small amount if air at the highest point in the system. Multiple on-jacks gear raises and extensions, many long periods of pump running (up and down) with the dump valve opened still left me with 15 second interval burps in the down position. Now, 3 flights later the system is once again without any burps - Indeed, days can go by and there is no leak within the system. I must just guess that it takes some time for ALL of the air to get worked out of the system.
