Regarding BillHogarty's complaint about the batteries in his King stuff
needing replacement so soon. That seems odd since I've been using a King
KLX135A (GPS/COM) since about '96 and have yet to replace the original
battery. Bill, yours must have been sitting on sombody's shelf for a long
time before you bought them.
However, now that I've mentioned the beast, I'm sure that the next time I go
fire up N235SP, the battery in question will be shot and need replacement.
To that end, would Jim Hankins be so kind as to give a bit more info about
the RS battery he used? I wouldn't mind saving $190 myself, especially since
the thing is only worth about $5 anyway.
