Manifold pressure from the #3 cylinder, CHT from the #3 cylinder, and EGT from the #3 cylinder. Everything is analog, nothing high tech. Oil pressure is from a 1/8" copper tube from the engine, big radius coil at the firewall and on in to the gauge on the panel. I normally lean to peak EGT and a little engine roughness, then fly about 50 deg. rich of peak. I think the biggest thing is having the airplane light and straight. In cruise my feet are on the floor and ailerons and elevator faired nicely, no trim tabs sticking out anywhere.
