Thats great. The elongation may be due to a combination of factors - In flight vibration, landing technique, taxi length, roughness of home field, different steel used in tabs from different eras, beauty of nose gear installation, phase of moon, etc.
Thanks for responding after testing. It now stands at 50/50 - half have the problem, half do not (2 data points).
