Hull" : Has anyone tried using the aluminum hinge with Hysol only for attaching a cowl? I have seen quite a few Lancairs and Glasairs that the rivets are flexing through the paint and cracking the paint. I obviously don't want my cowling to depart in flight but do wonder if the rivets are necessary with such a strong adhesive. -- Bart D.
