So as not to frighten anyone, remember that the overcenter link, once overcenter, has the gear locked in position. Either the "rat-trap" or the other style springs will keep the main gear over-center link locked even if all hydraulic pressure is lost. You merely have a leak or pressure maintenance issue somewhere in your hydraulic system.
