Bill,
I had that problem. I had masking tape years old on my
canopy to tape on protective paper. When it came time for it to come off,
glue and tape remnants would not, and I feared marring the plexiglas
etc. A local builder said use peanut butter! I did and it
worked. I smeared good old oily, smooth style peanut butter on the
tape/goo areas, left it over night and it all came off.
