Stu,

        I had problems with my first few installations of tubes in my
tires.  The flats were my fault.  The secret is to tape a piece of
light-weight construction paper around the inside of the rim before you put
the two haves together.  This keeps the rubber tube from being pinched by
the rim halves when you bolt them together.
