My ex-partner was about 6'1"+ and went 210 lbs easy. He never could get his
medical back by the time our LNC2 (early 235) was ready to fly so he was
always going to ride in the right side seat. That decided, we cut away some
of the right side seat bottom pieces to get him as low in the seat as
possible. In fact, his butt was right on the fuselage bottom (except for
about 1 inch of Temperfoam) and that provided him with enough head clearance
(with head-set on) to only smack his noggin on the canopy in really bad
bumps. It looked like he had to be careful sliding his knees under the panel
but once seated, there was plenty of clearance there too.
We didn't have to sit staggered fore and aft (as the Glasair guy mentioned
he did) to keep from rubbing shoulders. Though it was snug, once seated
there was always enough room to be comfortable for some long flights.
