Yea Rob, I just may do that.  I've even been tempted to build a full
performance analysis model for the Legacy, eventually.  Has anyone out there
already done that?

Anyway, I still need to get an idea of how good Lancair's original design
calculations were since they had to be guessing at the pitching moment of
the fuselage during design.  Even if I calculate an accurate delta AOI, I
may be starting from one that's already non-optimal.  Hopefully someone
flying an IO-550 Legacy has taken some in flight pictures that show the
elevator trim position (from another airplane or out the back window) or
they've set up their control stick so that it shows the angle their controls
are at...  (hmmmm, that might be cool...)
