I must confess to being one of the "lurkers." Started answering questions
directly to individuals a couple of years ago when someone took issue with
my opinion on the list. Can't even recall the issue any more, but it made an
unfavorable impression on me, and I decided not to invite the hassle.

Your post was a good wake up call to try again, Right or wrong, I believe we
gain more from sharing our ideas and opinions openly than from keeping them
private.
