Hello Angier,
we just converted our 235 to dual rudder and brakes. We routed both, the
pilot and co cables up to the rudder and crimped them about one inch before
the rudder (outside the fuselage). This allows us to change the cables
without getting stucked in the fuselage. All tubes are routed up to the end
of the fuselage. Rudder forces are fine with this design.
I would not want to fly without dual rudder AND brakes with an unexperienced
pilot left...
