Yes,

After over 300 hours of flying.  It happened to me.  I was told before that
event that the canopy will rise about 3 -4 inches and stay there.  Yup, it
sure did.  I leveled the plane, departed the pattern. put on the Autopilot
and it took one hand to pull it down and the other to close the lever
between the seats and the dogs caught the latch points.  There is a
tremendous lift force on that canopy and it would be impossible to close
with those locker latches.  There were no particular odd behaviors
experienced in flying the plane but then all I did was climbout, level off
and then closed the canopy.  I have the large tail.
