Tristan Carvers says he has 65 gallons in his wing tanks .How . . . . . .

Lancair lists 53 gallons with the long range tanks. You can also put fuel
in the "D - section" and get the "Leading edge tanks". You just prepare the
D section like you would with the other tanks.
In my case the Leading edge tanks is connected only with the tank outboard
of BL 104,5. My plan is to use these tanks as auxiliary tanks and transfer
fuel from right L.E tank to left main tank and L.L.E tank  to R. main( I
plan to run direct from the wings)

You will have to drill through the main spar (outb. of BL 104,5) to achieve
this combination.

I have drawings of this. Interested?!
