I've found a fantastic selection of springs in the past at McMaster-Carr
(www.mcmaster.com). Definitely worth looking into. Type "spring" into their
home page search box and you will be taken to a .PDF page where you can
literally specify the springs you want -- including material, wire
thickness, type, length, diameter, end style, etc., etc. Neat online source
for almost everything experimental...
