Attention anyone who has or is thinking about an EngineAir for their plane:

I spoke with a reliable source that knows a great deal about the Beechcraft twinEngineAir powered plane that crashed last week.  I have been adamant in past post about the poor design and un reliable information that came out of that company.  Now my worst fears were realized.  Loss of life.
It seems that the plane was returning to the Southeast from the Northeast and had a engine failure, crashed and then burned.  One prop was feathered proving that the plane had some engine problem and was attempting an emergency landing when the accident happened.
We heard from Doug Pohl at the Lancair workshop about the proposed twin conversion to their fantastic V-8 engine.     I also understand that Jim's old EngineAir powered IV-P plane crashed a few weeks before.  With examples like these, and the one that I spoke about in my old post, it would be in the best interest of all EngineAir customers to think long and hard about removing their V-8 EngineAir engines and going to a more reliable power plant.

We do not need to lose any more pilots due to poor product development.

If anyone needs any more information about the crash they can contact me by phone or direct e-mail.  This is not the place to talk about specifics of the crash only that it happened.

EngineAir customers and pilots, beware of the power plant you have installed.
