You're welcome, Jack. Suggest you re-read my e-mail and suit yourself.
You are obviously much smarter than me.

Brian,

Did I miss the point or maybe just ate a bowl of "stupid" this morning?
Are
you telling us that you want to raise the flaps by intermittently
bumping
the handle up while in a go-around situation?  Like most production
airplanes, you raise the handle and the flaps fully retract without
further
action on your part. I have made many changes to the IVP kit-like so
many
others.  The builders of experimental airplanes have advanced the field
immensely with their skill, technical knowledge and imagination. What
was
your point again? If I would have listened to the so-call experts, I
would
not have put an automobile engine in my other reliable experimental
aircraft.
