RWolf is right. The OLD kits had the bolts clocked differently on the two
gear legs. I never could figure out why that was, either.

I made my own brackets, and added little z-shaped "keepers" which locked
around the inboard side of the gear leg on the upwind edge to make the
installation more sturdy. It seemed to me that a strong crosswind could
really grab those middle gear doors and possibly rip them off. Never heard
of that happening, though...
