In seven years and about 800 hours I have replaced the nose gear gas strut
two times. The symptoms are slow or no extension of the nose strut on the
emergency gear down test, which I do on a random/frequent basis.

1. Found that I had to replace the GM28, nose gear gas strut again after
only 11 months of service. I was wondering what kind of service life time
other LNC2 owners are getting out of the struts from Lancair's latest
supplier (AVM). The strut measured only about 105 to 110 pounds of force
when new and now measures about 85 pounds.
