(Looking up past the wing root) is there supposed to be a lay-up on this joint.??? Pine Pienaar pine@cpro.co.za Lancair 360 #664 [I don't remember whether it's a 2-BID or 3-BID, but yes, there is supposed to be a layup there, it actually wraps up onto the underside of the wing root fillet. Be sure to use a large radius micro fillet to transition to that skin from the rib. When completed you should have BID layups completely around the perimeter of both sides of those ribs. ]
