Re: Randy Snarr's problem with shorter/longer Champion plugs.  A local Engine A & I got me to change to Autolite Plugs,  a lot of problems went away, like roughness at altitude, sensitivity to fouling during taxi, (cleaning the Champion's didn't help).  They take a deeper 7/8" socket to install, but a small penalty for superior performance..  Have had only one set of Autolite's with about 25 hours on them, so far so good..And by the way they were the same heat range etc.  Don Skeele N320J   235/320   (503)769-2563

[Thanks for the info, Don, but are these long or short plugs, or do they, too, come in varying lengths?  That was what Randy's post was primarily about and I imagine that would be in important point, at least for Randy <g>.
