I saw a turbine made in Argentina specifically for experimental aircraft use. Even had a gear reduction down to 2500 rpm. Idle at 5 gph
and 100% at 10 - 12 gph for 250 HP range at only 85 lbs. Now this is the way engines should be heading for us! Only problem is American
middleman listing engine price at $39,000. JAG helicopter says they have a contact for an engine that is in testing for over 5 years now that will
be 350HP at same burn and weight as above. (Could it be same engine uprated for Helicopter use?)

Just need to get over the relative cheapness of a rebuilt Lyc or Cont and get enough sales going to drive the prices down. As with most aviation items
a lot is personal choice so sales numbers for any one product never seem to hit "critical mass".
