Subject: LC235 rudder cable tubes forward attach point....

Still slowly building that 235 in my garage and was fitting up the outboard rudder cable tubes tonight. It appears that the shortest distance would take the forward attach right over the Spar/FuselageSide laidup web. In fact it appears that a 3/16" hole in the top of that web would be a good way to securely have a forward attach for the outboard cable tube. I'm concerned not to weaken the Spar/FuselageSide web and am interested if any others have used such an attach (my web is just over 1/4" thick) or should I just locate the cable tube up an inch or so and secure to the fuselage side.

I did buy 12 feet of 1/8" Al rod from Home Depot and inserted it in the poly tube to help straighten the cable tube out (gets rid of the rolled set it has from shipping).

Feeback is always appreciated...
