I am in the mid stages of putting together this thing and still have not had a solid idea on air-conditioning.
Does any one know a source for a light weight (10 lbs) 2 horsepower electric motor to turn a small Nippon Denso A/C compressor?  I think that I have the condenser fan problem in hand but the motor to turn the compressor is a real problem.  The flow pack or air cycle machine seem to be out of my price and intelligence range.

I picked up the engine 2 weeks ago, after test cell an training, I was very impressed.

The plans, etc. from Lancair have been a bit slow, but then I am retired and probably complete things a bit faster that they have planned.  The tech people are extremely nice, and I hate to bug them until I really have a burning need to know.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone else out there that is building a turboprop, I'm sure that you have some of the same questions that I have.
