Olsen" Subject: Hard(Crash) Landing Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" ; format="flowed" Crashed my plane again. Does anyone have an O-320 prop for sale? It was pilot error this time. I came in to high. Descended at 2,000 fpm. Didn't arrest the sink rate and didn't go around after the first bounce. The second landing was the hard one and did the damage. J. Webb tells me that whenever I am below 500 feet at more than an 800 fpm sink rate that the approach is unstablelized and that I should go around. I will do this in the future. So... I am out of business for another 2 months waiting for a prop. -- Lorn H. 'Feathers' Olsen, MAA, DynaComm, Corp. 248-478-4301, mailto:lorn@dynacomm.ws LNC2, O-320-D1F, N31161, Y47, SE Michigan
