Our new SR22 Cirrus with an IO-550 (non-turbo) must have balanced injectors in it, as the POH even suggests running it 50 LOP, which I do regularly. It takes the fuel flow from almost 20gph at 75 ROP to about 12.5gph at 50 LOP, and the CHTS go from approaching 400 to about 320. Incredible results. Now, keep in mind this data is taken from relatively primitive instrumentation when compared to the VM1000..unfortunately, the Cirrus only has one EGT probe and one CHT probe. I have also tried LOP operations on our little twin Partinavia with GAMI's. Similar results there. Low CHTs, less fuel burn. --- Shannon Knoepflein <---> kycshann@kyol.net
