I've never purchased an airplane before so I've got a few questions about taxes. The airplane is currently in Indiana. It will be flown here to Kansas where the sale will take place. The airplane is 1978 so it does not qualify as an antique. How is sales tax paid? Is this reported in state or county taxes at year end? Is it a part of registration fees similar to automobiles? How is property tax figured? Is it market value or price paid? How (when) is it paid? Thanks! Paul Klusman
