Has anyone any experience with different regulators in a 28V system on a IVP.
We are getting considerable noise from ours (older type supplied by Lancair) which affects the stormscope and the ADF..turn the alternator off and it goes away.
Tried the later BandC one now supplied by Lancair..this fixed the stormscope interference but made the ADF unuseable. The alternator has a large Cessna type capacitor attached and we don’t feel it is the problem...all leads are shielded.
Any thoughts from any subscribers out there who have been through this?
