We are getting considerable noise from ours (older type supplied by Lancair= ) which affects the stormscope and the ADF..turn the alternator off and it goes away. Tried the later BandC one now supplied by Lancair..this fixed the stormscop= e interference but made the ADF unuseable. The alternator has a large Cessna type capacitor attached and we don=B9t feel it is the problem...all leads are shielded.=20 Any thoughts from any subscribers out there who have been through this?
