Jim, in your opinion did the full aft stick stalls in the USAF help the pilots?? Or am I out of line thinking it's helped my flying. I went back in my log book a did a quick count to see how many spin's I've done. Its somewhere in the area of 75+  Most of them for more than 1000' [ I used to fly out to my parents farm and spin down from altitude-- [just for practice of course  :) ] I've demonstrated spins for both my Private and my Commercial Licence's and was graded w/ 5's both times by a flight test examiner [ on a scale of 0-5]  I agree that pilots should take spin training as well as advanced training in unusual attitudes. It can't do anything but good.
