Hello,
I purchased a Concorde RG-25XC (XC = Extra cranking) battery about two years ago (approx 200 hours) and installed it in my Lancair 360.  Works great!

Currently doing my third annual.

Could somebody tell me how long these batteries are suppose to last?

My cheap Gill G-25 battery lasted from 1992 till 2000.

How does one determine if the battery needs to be replaced?

When you have to start hand proping the plane, you will know that it is time.
Thanks in advance.
