Perhaps, James. However, if you consider finding out what your airplane does
in slow flight at MCA, gear up/down, flaps up/down, or whether you have a
flutter problem at or near VNE, or whether your airplane has a nasty
surprise in store for you when (not if) you ever stall it poppycock , then
poppycock it is. To me, when you sign off your Lancair after the test phase
25 or 40 hours as (to paraphrase) "fully tested", it ought to have been.

I for one would rather know since my wife rides with me and I've learned
long ago that a surprise by any airplane, once airborne, is a real bad
thing.
