It is a 2 seat version of the F-100A, F-100C and F-100D single seat fighters
that the aAir Force had in the 50's and 60's. The F-100 was the first supersonic
(nose down and full burner) fighter in the USAF and the first of a series of
fighters dubbed "Century Series". These included the following: F-100 Super
Sabre , F-101 Voodoo, F-102, F-105, and F-106. The F-100F was used in Viet Nam
for awhile to hunt surface to air missiles over the North. It was replaced by
the F-105F & F-105G - both 2 seaters.
Neat airplane - heavy F-86, but could carry a lot more load. Engines were
J-57-39 and J-57-21. The -39 was the first model used, which is weird that a
later dash number was used first and then chucked for the -21.
I don't know if anyone has an F-100 in the Warbird Groups.
I've got a fair amount of time in the C, D & F.
Hope this helps.
Cheers,
John Schroeder
