You have a wing and a cabin to give you enough shade to see the unit. The Legacy is a low wing open canopy. The unit is unusable in that set up. It does work well at noght and under cloudy conditions. I hope they fix the system so open canopy planes can make use of this unit. Rick Rick "Marc F.
