Comments? > > I flew a C-340 for the last 2 years. It had 2, 335 HP Turbo engines. The temperatures a FL220 through FL260 are between 0 and -60 degrees Fahrenheit most of the time. The turbo bleed air would keep me (not the passengers) warm until about -20 degrees Fahrenheit. I always found that hard to believe. When it got colder than that, you absolutely have to have more heat. The passengers were cold most of the time. Don't forget the side windows, if you care. Below -30 degrees Fahrenheit the side windows and any other window without a defroster will be frosted all of the time. -- Lorn H.
