Before making hardware changes make sure you know you are dealing with good numbers. My oil temp probe is a thermistor. The indication drifted over time at the high end of the scale. A potentiometer in the gauge easily took care of the drift. If temps are real, then check the operation of the vernatherm. Chris N91CZ 360std
