After giving everyones comments some thought. If I could do it over again and could find some builder enthusiast who would go out and buy a kit and all of the components then spend a couple of years of his time puting it together, then sticking his butt in it and flying it around for 50 to 100 hrs , just to be sure it was safe, and then selling it to me for way less than it cost him, I would have probably gone that route.
