   Randy I have some experience in this area and it is not a solution
for every thing as it seems in the stuff you are reading.  In fact there
are many more problems than with the current system.  In years ahead (15
app) it may be great but not now.  You become very dependent on electric
power.  In addition you have many more critical components to fail.  The
failure analysis is not great.  The complexity in the engine compartment
is significant.
