I use flat sheets of polytheylene stock.  1/8" thickness for the glass (off
the roll) cutting table and 1/2" thickness for my layup cutting and work
table.  It comes in 4' x 8' sheets.  The stuff cleans up well and has a long
life.  About $100 per sheet.  My supplier in Tulsa is Plastic Supply &
Fabrication @ (918) 622-8430.  I'm sure Houston has similiar businesses.
