I have found that Orange Tuff works great. It is a water-dilutable, water-rinsable, multi purpose degreaser distributed by Spartan Chemical Company , Toledo, Ohio. Telephone 800-537-8990. It should be available at your local chemical cleaning supply house. A gallon should last several years.  I usually wash the top of the plane first and then do the bottom, spraying the cleaning solution on the belly with a hand sprayer. It works great, even if the plane in wet.  Jim Farrell
