I was wondering if anyone has installed additional landing lights out on the winglets. Now would be the time to consider it if it was an option. On my 1982 Mooney K model I have "recognition lights" that I use when in the traffic pattern. These lights send a beam forward that makes the plane much more identifiable when viewed from the front. It appears they were added inside the wingtip light assy after the fact, but I am not sure. Does anyone know if these type lights can be added to the Lancair available Whelen light assy's? Appreciate any tips, Tom Sullivan U.P. of Michigan (partially under water)
