Nick Seal, isn't he a private detective?
I managed to stab mine with an Xacto knife. To fix it I took a scrap piece of seal jam material (the mating part to the inflatable part) to the belt sander and thinned it down to about 0.030". I then used a paper hole punch to cut a nice round patch. After sanding the seal with 220 grit to remove the release agent I glued the patch in place with clear RTV silicone (same stuff I used to glue the seal in place). Seven years later it is still holding.
If you don't have any scrap material let me know and I'll make you a couple of patches. I still have about 10 feet of the stuff in stock.

Brent Regan
