Everything went perfectly. Only quirk is that the FAA insists that I fly 40 hours from Mojave before moving to Tehachapi, where the airplane will eventually reside. I had planned getting rid of my Mojave hangar after demonstrating satisfactory takeoff and landing performance. Not sure what the point is. Tehachapi is all of about 15 air miles from Mojave. Oh well, they did agree to my requested flight test area, which is a rectangle about 40 X 70 miles. Hope to fly first flight in about 2 weeks.
