Sat in the cockpit of his mockup. It's surprisingly comfortable for it's size. Almost all of the soft tooling is done (uses dense foam cut with an NMC machine -- pretty slick). John is probably one of the leading composite gurus in the world. He now works only part-time at the Skunkworks and is devoting the majority of his time to this kit project.
